Set up the Backoffice
Before you share any links, give Periode the details your guests see on receipts and emails, add the people who will work in the Backoffice, and make your booking pages look like your own. Everything here can be changed later, and we are happy to go through the setup with you: email contact@periode.no.
Create your organization
Your organization is your business in Periode. Everything else, from products to payments, belongs to it.
- Go to merchant.periode.no/register and create your login.
- Choose to add an organization.
- Fill in your country, business registration number, organization name, email, phone number, website, currency and time zone.
- Accept the terms and create the organization.
Check the currency and time zone before you create the organization. They decide which prices and times your guests see.
One login can belong to several organizations, and you switch between them after signing in. Several locations of the same business are usually one organization, with tags to tell them apart.
Fill in your company details
Open Settings > Company and press Edit. The company email is where guests reach you and where Periode sends notifications about new customers and orders. Keep Use: reply to in e-mail on, so a guest who replies to a booking confirmation reaches you.
Turn on Accept sending of SMS if you want to send reminders by SMS. Each SMS has a small fixed price, listed on the pricing page.
Every setting on the page is explained in Account and settings.
Invite your team
Add the people who will work in the Backoffice under Settings > Users, and give each of them the role that matches their work. Admins handle settings, products and money. Booking Masters run the booking calendar, bookings and check-in, which suits front-desk staff. Restricted Booking Masters only see the products you choose.
The roles are described in more detail under User roles.
Add your brand
Under Settings > Branding, upload your logo and choose your colours, background and font. Your booking pages and the emails your guests receive use them from then on. Preview the result before you save. See Branding.
